About Us

Empowering communities through mangrove conservation and sustainable aquaculture in Fiji.

Rooted in Restoration, Growing for the Future

The Mangrove Farm Fiji began as a vision to restore the natural beauty and resilience of Fiji’s coastlines. Founded in Vutiniga, Naimalavau, Nakelo, our journey started with a small group dedicated to the healing power of mangroves and the promise of sustainable aquaculture.

Our team brings together local expertise, passionate environmentalists, and innovative thinkers, all united by a love for Fiji’s rich biodiversity. With every seedling planted and every project launched, we nurture the bonds between nature, culture, and community.

We believe in the transformative impact of empowering local communities. By integrating mangrove restoration with sustainable aquaculture and ecotourism, we create opportunities for education, income, and lasting environmental health.

Guided by values of inclusivity, respect, and climate action, The Mangrove Farm Fiji is committed to protecting coastal ecosystems, advancing blue carbon solutions, and inspiring others to join our shared mission.

Our Journey of Growth and Impact

The Mangrove Farm Fiji began with a heartfelt mission: to restore vital mangrove ecosystems and empower local communities in the Nakelo region. Guided by a small group of passionate environmentalists, we started with a single nursery and a vision for a healthier, more sustainable future.

Over the years, our dedication has blossomed into a thriving network of mangrove seedling nurseries and innovative aquaculture systems. Through strong partnerships with local families, schools, and global conservation organizations, we have expanded our reach and deepened our impact.

Milestones such as the launch of our first integrated aquaculture project and the opening of educational workshops have brought new hope and opportunities to the region. Our efforts have supported coastal protection, enhanced biodiversity, and fostered climate action through blue carbon initiatives.

Every achievement is a testament to our caring team, the trust of our partners, and the resilience of the communities we serve. Together, we continue to nurture Fiji’s coastal heritage, guided by compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for the environment.
